Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to hotel in Entebbe

Arrival: You will be picked up by your guide at Entebbe International Airport who will brief you about the details of your trip. After the briefing, you will be driven to your hotel in Entebbe where you will have a relaxing evening at your lodge where you will have a dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel(luxury), 2 friends hotel (midrange)

Day 2; Flight to Bwindi national park

Flight to Bwindi: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and your guide will pick you up and drop you off at the airport for your flight to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On arrival in Bwindi national park, you will be driven to your lodge where you will have lunch and relax ahead of your gorilla trekking adventure the next day. You will also have dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge (luxury), Buhoma haven (midrange) as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around.

Day 3; Gorilla trekking

Gorilla Trekking: You will wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After your breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your gorilla trekking experience. At the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will also be divided into groups of 8 people to trek one gorilla group and spend 1 hour with the gorillas. During the gorilla trekking experience, you will follow different trails in the impenetrable forest as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the gorilla trekking experience, you will trek back to the briefing point at the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge (luxury), Buhoma haven (midrange).

Day 4: Transfer from Bwindi national park to Queen Elizabeth national park

Transfer to Queen: You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and proceed to drive out of Bwindi national park to Queen Elizabeth national park via the Ishasha sector. During the drive through the Ishasha sector, you will have an experience watching the tree climbing lions as they hunt and relax up in the tree branches. You will also see other wildlife species in the savanna plains of this national park. You will proceed to check-in at your lodge and have a relaxing break.
Boat Cruise: Later in the evening, you will go for an evening boat cruise along the kazinga channel. During the boat cruise, you will see different bird species along the water shores such as cormorants, kingfisher, saddle bills, yellow billed storks, hammerkops, herons, martial eagles, African skimmer, white malachite and many other species. You will also enjoy the sunset in the wild as you watch the hippos swimming in the water and Nile crocodiles lying by the shores as well as buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, leopards, warthogs, forest hogs, reedbucks, duikers grazing in the nearby plains. After the boat cruise, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge(luxury), park view safari lodge(midrange).

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking

Chimpanzee Trekking: You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking. After breakfast, you will be driven to the Kyambura forest where you will begin your chimpanzee tracking activity. On arrival at the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the chimpanzee tracking activity. After the briefing, you will trek into the forest as you search for the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. During this activity, you will also see a variety of birds and tree species as well as many butterflies and primates such as the black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys. After your chimpanzee tracking adventure, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe

Transfer to Entebbe: You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your flight back to Entebbe. You will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe where you will have lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to the Entebbe botanical gardens for an experience enjoying the beauty of nature along the shores of Lake Victoria where the gardens are located. You will also see a variety of bird and tree species. After the visit to the botanical gardens, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel (luxury), 2 friends (midrange).

Day 7: Fly to Tanzania

Flight to Tanzania: You will have an early breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe ahead of your flight to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will be met by your guide who will brief you about your safari and will drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park

Transfer to Lake Manyara: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and you will proceed to Lake Manyara national park where you will see a variety of wildlife species such as hippos, giraffes, zebras, a large concentration of elephants as well as many tree-climbing lions and many other wildlife and bird species. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the great rift valley escarpment and see flamingos at Lake Manyara which is a soda lake. After the game viewing experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge (luxury), Manyara tortils (midrange).

Day 9: Transfer to Serengeti national park

Transfer to Serengeti National Park: After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and proceed to Serengeti national park. You will pass through the beautiful farmlands of karatu and also the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy the scenery around. You will see various wildlife species in Serengeti national park such as lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and many other wildlife species. You will also see attractions in Serengeti national park such as the Seronera River. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (luxury), Serengeti heritage(midrange).

Day 10: Full day Serengeti

Full-Day Serengeti tour: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of another wildlife viewing experience exploring the plains of Serengeti national park. you will see a variety of wildlife species during this experience such as the big five which includes elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards and rhinos as well as zebras, wildebeest, waterbucks, hartebeest, hyenas, hippos, giraffes among others. After your game viewing experience. You will later be driven to the Maasai villages for an experience of the beautiful culture of the Maasai where you will get to know about their way of life, visit the “manyattas” which are the Maasai traditional homesteads, watch traditional dance performances, see local arts and crafts such as beaded necklaces, bracelets, earrings, listen to folk stories about the nomadic life of the Maasai. return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (luxury), Serengeti heritage(midrange).

Day 11: Hot air balloon safari in Serengeti

Hot Air Balloon Safaris: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your hot air balloon adventure. You will be driven to the starting point where you will meet the crew in charge of the hot air balloon trips in the national park who will give you all the necessary information about the hot air balloon experience. You will proceed to the hot air balloons for an aerial view of the beauty of the national park and its different attractions such as wildlife species. After the hot air balloon experience, you will be picked up by your guide who will drive you to the Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge(luxury), Hhando coffee lodge(midrange).

Day 12: Transfer to Ngorongoro

Transfer to Ngorongoro: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro crater area where you will see a variety of wildlife species as you descend to the crater such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, antelopes, hippos, dik-dik, wildebeests among others. You will also have lunch in the wilderness of the reserve as you prepare for another wildlife viewing experience in the afternoon. You can also opt for a visit to the Maasai villages after your wildlife viewing experie nce to interact with the Maasai people and learn more about their way of life. Day 16: Transfer to Lake Nakuru

Transfer to Lake Nakuru: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge in the Masai Mara reserve. After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Nakuru national park where you will see a variety of wildlife species as well as beautiful flamingos which are in big numbers and can be seen along the shores of Lake Nakuru. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Nakuru Sopa lodge(luxury), Nakuru Simba lodge (midrange).

Day 17: Departure

Departure: You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then proceed to check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will have an enroute game drive as you proceed to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location which will mark the end of your safari.
