The 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari is a short safari tour package that takes you to one of the ten national parks found in Uganda and this one is located just a driving distance away from the noisy place of Kampala City.
Lake Mburo National Park lies in the western Uganda region, approximately 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kampala. It is home to abundant f antelopes such as unique zebras, impala, elands, oribis, buffalos, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi, and reedbuck among others. Lake Mburo National Park is also a paradise for birders that stuns with over 350 bird species.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Afternoon boat cruise
Depending on your location in Kampala/ Entebbe on the first day of the 2 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, our company representative driver guide will pick you up from your hotel very early in the morning. Will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. On the way, you will enjoy splendid views and then continue the journey to the park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise, after lunch you will drive to the landing site for an impressive boat cruise on Lake Mburo. While on a boat cruise expect to have incredible views of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, view water birds many others. After the interesting boat cruise. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Eagles Nest lodge-budget or Kigarama Wilderness lodge-midrange

Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on your last day of the 2 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you expect to view different animals like giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, oribi, topi many other animals grazing in the open savannah plains, view the beautiful sunrise, different bird species and many more.
After the game drive you will drive out of the park and depart back to Kampala with en-route lunch at the Equator. After lunch, you will proceed the journey to Kampala where you will reach early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of advice.
