3 Days Kidepo National Park Tour is one of the short tours to Northern Uganda where travelers will explore the amazing wildlife in Kidepo National Park. Your 3 days trip to Kidepo National Park in the northeastern parts of Uganda will be filled with many adventures in the wilderness and you will engage in a variety of activities ranging from game drives and bird watching to meeting the local community of the Ik people and you get to spend time with this unique tribe and learn more about their amazing ways of life, traditions, see local crafts, cultural dances, songs and folktales and so much more.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Kidepo and Community Tour

Flight to Kidepo: On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by a representative of Aerolink who will welcome you and help you with the flight arrangements of your scheduled domestic flight to Kidepo national park that day. During the flight, you will get an aerial view of the beauty of the wilderness in kidepo national park and its savannah grasslands where the various wildlife species graze.
Check-In & Community Walk: On arrival in the national park, you will be met by your guide who will brief you about the details of your 3 Days Kidepo National Park Tour. You will proceed to drive to your lodge where you will check-in and have lunch and then get a little rest. Later in the evening, you will have a community walk where you will meet the Ik people who live in the mountains near Kenya. After your interaction with the Ik people, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge.

Day 2: Morning and evening game drive

Morning Game Drive: You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of your 3 Days Kidepo National Park Tour. After breakfast, you will proceed with your packed lunches for a morning game drive experience where you will see a variety of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, mountain reedbuck, giraffe, caracal, klipspringer, zebras, jackals, hyenas as they are more active during this time of day. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for a brief relaxation as you prepare for the next activity of the day.
Evening Game Drive: Later in the evening, you will go for an evening game drive to see the wildlife species which you did not see during the previous game drive. After this evening game viewing experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge.

Day 3: Departure

Return to Entebbe (By Flight): On the last day of your 3 days Kidepo national park tour, you will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. After checking out of the lodge, you will be driven around the national park for the last glimpses of the beauty in the wild with a variety of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, mountain reedbuck, giraffe, caracal, klipspringer, zebras. After the game drive, you will proceed to Apoka airstrip for your flight to Entebbe.
