This 4 Days Kidepo Safari Uganda is an ideal safari tour package that leads you to one of the world’s untouched wildernesses. The park is located in the remote, rugged, and semi-arid parts of Karamoja and covers an area of about 1.44 square kilometers. It was once described as one of the top three parking lots in Africa by CNN Travel. Visitors will get to see cheetahs, elephants, Ostriches, hippopotamuses, leopards, baboons, giraffes, wild dogs, Oryx, buffalo, lions, and several antelope species, including bush babies. It is also a true birding paradise with over 500 bird species recorded. This trip starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary for the 4 Days Kidepo Safari Uganda
Day 1: Fly in to Kidepo – Afternoon Game drive
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and taken to either Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi airfield. You will have a two-hour flight that gives you a chance to see Uganda’s beautiful and changing landscapes. You will land at Apoka airstrip, where you will be picked up by our safari driver-guide and transferred to your booked accommodation. Where you will freshen up, enjoy hot lunch, relax/swim, and wait for your afternoon game drive.
Go on an afternoon game drive and be able to spot lions, hippos, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and several species of antelopes. Have dinner and an overnight stay at Apoka safari lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and Visit to the Karamojong community
Enjoy an early sumptuous breakfast at your lodge, then embark on a game drive at Narus Valley. Every game drive is different and rewarding. Expecting to take enough photos before returning back to your lodge for lunch and a swim.
In the afternoon, visit the people of Karamojong. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in rare houses called manyattas that are designed to be temporary. You will be entertained with their amazing traditional songs and dances. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot Springs – Visit to the Ik People
On this day, start with a relaxed breakfast before heading to the Kidepo Valley. You will pass through the Narus valley again on your way to the Kidepo Valley to spot more animal species, Ostriches, and numerous bird species.
You will be able to see the Hot springs in Kidepo and learn how they relate to the local/indigenous communities. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airfield
After breakfast, followed by checkout and then being transferred back to Kidepo Valley Airfield/Apoka Airstrip to fly you to Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield in Kampala. Upon arrival, connect to your international flight back home.
