Details of the 5 Days Tour

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Gulu

Pick Up: You will be picked up by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your 5 days Kidepo national park trip.
Transfer to Gulu & Rhino Experience: You will proceed to drive to Gulu with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for an experience with the rare white rhino species. After the rhino experience, you will have lunch at Kabalega Diner and proceed to drive to Gulu for dinner and overnight at Bomah hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo and evening game drive

Transfer to Kidepo: You will wake up for an early breakfast at your hotel and check out of the lodge. After checking out, you will proceed to drive to Kidepo national park. During the drive to this national park, you will see different attractions such as the Karuma falls.
Game Drive through the Narus Valley: You will also drive through the Narus valley where you will see a variety of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, mountain reedbuck, giraffe, caracal, klipspringer, zebras, jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants and different bird species such as the ostriches. After the game drive in Narus valley, you will proceed to drive to your lodge where you will have dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge.

Day 3: Full day game drive

Morning Game Drive: After early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will go with your packed lunches for a morning game drive. During the game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species which are more active during this time of day as they hunt, feed, groom each other, graze. The vast savanna of Kidepo national park is home to many wildlife species which include lions, leopards, mountain reedbuck, giraffe, caracal, klipspringer, zebras, jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and many others.
Afternoon Game Drive & Game Drive: After the game drive, you will have your packed lunches in the wild as you relax and enjoy the views around you. After lunch, you will drive to another part of Kidepo national park where you will see the manyattas of the local community and you will interact with the Karamojong people and see their traditional dances, learn how to make local crafts and jewelry, listen to folk stories and myths and so much more. After the community visit, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Sipi falls and coffee tour

Morning Game Drive: You will wake up for breakfast in the early morning and check out of the lodge after breakfast. After checking out of your lodge, you will go for a morning game drive as you leave the wilderness of Kidepo national park behind you.
Transfer to Sipi Falls: You will proceed to drive to Kapchorwa where you will visit the Sipi falls.
Hike the Sipi Falls: The journey to Sipi falls will engage you in hiking around the three waterfalls with beautiful sights around such as the Mount Elgon which can be seen during the Sipi falls hike.
Coffee Plantations Experience: After the Sipi falls hike, you will visit the coffee plantations and experience how Arabica coffee is made and brewed right from the plantations to the time it is ready for drinking. After the coffee tour, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the Sipi river lodge.

Day 5: Departure and transfer to Kampala

Return to Kampala: Wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge before checking out. After checking out of the lodge, you will be driven back to Kampala which will mark the end of your 5 days Kidepo and Sipi Falls trip.
