Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Rhinos, Karuma Falls and Sleep over in Gulu.
Day 1 of the 5 days Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Karuma Falls and Kidepo National Park Safari will start in Kampala and you will set off in Kampala at 7am heading north to Kidepo National Park. On your way to Kidepo, you will have you first stop by Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a Rhino tracking experience; here you will see the might rhinos and enjoy their beauty.
After you will continue on your journey; your second stop will be at the Karuma falls where you will also stop to enjoy the beauty of the Karuma falls; you will mainly view the falls and the surrounding sceneries.
After this experience at Karuma, you will then continue on to Gulu town where you will arrive in the evening. You will check into an accommodation in Gulu and on this first day of your Safari you will have dinner and spend a night in Gulu. You will also have lunch en route on this day.
Day 2: Kidepo National Park, Evening Game drive
Day 2 of the 5 days Zziwa Rhino Santuary, Karuma Falls and Kidepo National Park Safari, you will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast you will embark on your journey to Kidepo National Park. You will be in Kidepo in the late mid-morning, you will then check into your accommodation and then after you will have lunch.
In the early evening you will head out to the wild for a game drive to go see the numerous animals that stay in the park that include lions, cheetahs, giraffes, leopards, buffaloes and many others.
The game drive will go on till about 7pm and after you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 3: Whole day game drive
Day 3 of the 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, you will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast you will head to the wild again for a whole day game drive that will go on till the evening; on this game drive you will explore the entire park, viewing animals, birds, landscape, vegetation and many more things.
You will have a packed lunch and other snacks that you will eat through the entire day and you tour the park.
The experience will end in the evening and after you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 4: Ike community and a Night in Gulu
Day 4 of the 5 Days Ziwa Karuma & Kidepo Wildlife Safari, you will be up early, have breakfast and after breakfast you will head out of the park to visit the Ike community the Karamong people the stay in the region. You will have time to interact with these people, engage in local dances and songs, storytelling, and other traditional activities.
The experience will end at about lunch time and then you will head back to your accommodation where you will have lunch and after lunch you will set off to Gulu town.
You will arrive in Gulu town in the evening, check into your accommodation have dinner and a night rest.
Day 5: Head to Kampala
Day 5 of the 5 Days Ziwa Karuma & Kidepo Wildlife Safari, you will be up early, have breakfast and after breakfast, you will then set off to Kampala. You will be in Kampala in the afternoon and the guide will drop you at a location of your choice either in Kampala or Entebbe. You will have lunch en route on this day.
