Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport or Kampala on the first day of the 6 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way you will enjoy interesting views of the landscape, tea plantations, crater lakes, and Rwenzori mountain ranges with a stopover for en-route lunch. After lunch, you will proceed the journey to the park and upon arrival, you will embark on an evening game drive where you will be able to view animals such as buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and elephants and then drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive/ lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
You will enjoy breakfast on the second day of the safari before meeting up with your driver guide to head for a morning game drive or lion tracking experience which is commonly done in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to view animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, bird species, and others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will be able to cruise near the school of hippos and crocodiles in the water, view elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and warthogs along the shores, bird species, view fishermen preparing their fishing gears among others. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On this day, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern part of Uganda. On the way you will pass via the Ishasha sector where you will be able to watch the tree-climbing lions lying up in acacia, and fig tree branches. After the game drive in the Ishasha sector, then go for a delicious lunch, and then continue the journey to Bwindi Forest National Park. On arriving in the park, you will check into your booked lodge, have dinner, and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge/ Mahogany springs-luxury/ Buhoma Haven lodge-midrange or Buhoma community rest camp-budget.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have an early breakfast on the fourth day of the safari, you will carry packed lunch boxes and meet up with your driver to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will meet up with the park range to locate your assigned gorilla family, the park ranger will lead you through forest trails which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to watch different bird species, other primate species such as l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural environment which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities such as feeding, breastfeeding, playing, learn more about their behaviors and habits, take photos and capturing videos for your future remembrance.
After an hour’s encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the meeting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your driver guide to embark on an optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa pygmies, learn about their culture. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a Boat cruise
Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast on the fifth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. The journey takes between 3 to 4 hours’ drive and upon arrival, you will embark on an interesting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi known as one of the deepest lakes I Uganda and a birding site. During the boat cruise, you will be able to enjoy picture taking, explore some of the beautiful 29 Islands on Lake Bunyonyi like Punishment Island, view traditional homesteads, terraced farmlands, beautiful scenery, and more. After the boat ride you will return to the lodge for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or embark on optional activities like community tours or zip lining. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above stay at Arcadia cottages-luxury/ Bird Nest resort-midrange or Bunyonyi eco lodge-budget.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala
After a warm breakfast on the last day of the 6 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to depart back to Kampala. On the way, you will have a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and another stopover at the Equator where you will be able to enjoy a photo shoot and buy some souvenirs and many others. From the Equator you will continue with the journey to Kampala and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport or drop you off at any place of convenience.
