The 8 Days Kenya Wildlife and Uganda Gorilla Safari is a combined safari tour itinerary for both Kenya and Uganda ‘’the Pearl of Uganda’’. The Kenyan part you will engage in wildlife adventure and Uganda part you’re to engage in gorilla trekking among other astonishing activities to do.
In Kenya, you will visit the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Uganda you will visit Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
On day 1 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife and Uganda Gorilla Safari, upon arrival in Nairobi (JKIA) where you will be welcomed to Kenya by an Aaagera Safaris driver guide. You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight at La Maison Royale Hotel

Day 2: Transfer to Masaai Mara
You will be met and picked up by our Safaris representative from your hotel in Nairobi. The driver guide will then start you on your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will drive through the vast landscape and nature of Kenya. On arrival at your lodge, you will be warmly welcomed with a fresh glass of juice and have lunch. After a delicious lunch head for an evening game drive before your dinner and overnight stay at Mara Lodge.

Day 3 & 4: Full Day Game drives
Have breakfast in the morning as you prepare for your full-day game viewing in the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will carry packed lunch from the lodge and then head out into the reserve for a whole day of beautiful game viewing. You will search for wildlife– big herds of lions, leopards, elephants, the elusive cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, topis, spotted hyenas, zebras, baboons graceful giraffes among others. Your day will end in the evening as you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Optional Activity – Hot Air Balloon Safari
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
Wake up have breakfast, and then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe via Kisumu for immigration. This flight is in a smaller aircraft and helps us avoid the transfer via Nairobi. You will arrive in Entebbe depending on time, then proceed the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or overnight in Entebbe and travel the next day. Dinner and overnight stay at Best Western Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Your day will begin after an early breakfast and you will embark on your gorilla safari southwards to Bwindi’s impenetrable forest. The journey stuns with highway sights of rural and semi-urban Uganda with lots of fruit and vegetable markets along the roads, craft and drum makers, and a stop at Uganda’s Equator to enjoy the experience of standing across the southern hemispheres as well as having memorable photography.
After the experience at the Equator, continue to drive to Mbarara for en-route lunch and after, proceed to Bwindi with short bathroom stopovers and picture sessions of landscape and other attractions. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Today early morning your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the briefing point at 7 am. On arrival, you will be welcomed and provided a seat to be briefed about the activity, when you’re done. You will meet with the ranger on duty to allocate you to a gorilla family. Then, you will be escorted into the forest in search of gorillas with your packed lunch boxes from the lodge.
If you have heavy luggage, porters are available for hire. They go at a small fee of USD 20. They help in carrying your heavy luggage and push or pull you along the steep slippery paths in the forest. Dinner and overnight stay at the above lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe
After enjoying your tasty breakfast at leisure, have lunch at the Equator and enjoy picture sessions in both the northern and southern hemispheres. That marks the end of the safari.
