This 9 Days Bwindi Gorillas, Maasai Mara and Amboseli Safari lead you to a house of gorillas – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda and Game viewing in Maasai Mara and Amboseli Safari in Kenya. The trip starts in Kampala Uganda’s capital and ends in Nairobi Kenya.
Day 0: Airport Pickup and Transfer to Hotel
You will be picked up by the hotel upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Dinner and overnight stay at Best Western Premier Hotel Entebbe.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park,
Depending on your point of location in Kampala on the first day of your 9 Days Bwindi Gorillas, Maasai Mara, and Amboseli Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel or Entebbe airport. You will be briefed about the safari and then set off on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park that lies in southwestern Uganda. The journey takes about 8 to 9 hours’ drive and on the way you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to buy souvenirs, take photographs, and then continue with another stopover for en-route lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed on the journey with impressive views of the rolling hills, terraced farmlands, traditional homesteads, beautiful scenery among others. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Optional Batwa Cultural Experience
Wake up early enjoy your delicious breakfast, carry your packed lunch, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas because they move place to place in search of food. During trekking, you will enjoy gainful views of the bird species, animals, plants, and primates like the L’Hoest’s monkeys among others. Once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat learning about their habits, behaviors, taking photos, and recording videos.
After the one-hour interaction with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure to Kampala
After a tasty breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town. After lunch, you will continue the drive to Kampala. Arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Maasai Mara
Wake up and have breakfast at leisure from your lodge. Today you will be flying to Maasai Mara in Kenya. You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport to fly to Maasai Mara. Arrive in Mara in time to check check-in and have lunch at your lodge. Spend the rest of your evening at leisure with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full-day adventure in Maasai Mara National Reserve
After having breakfast at your lodge, prepare for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve where you expect to see a variety of wildlife species that are very active and can be easily seen at this time of the day like wildebeests, zebras, elephants, antelopes, buffalos, rhinos, lions, leopards many more. You will have lunch at your lodge after the morning game drive have a picnic lunch and later on after lunch. You will have another game drive as you look for other wildlife and bird species within Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Visit to Maasai Bomas
Wake up early in the morning for a guided game drive in the park. Morning game drives in Mara are the perfect one to watch animals leave their dens and head out to look for food. Look out for a variety of wildlife animals like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and zebras among others. You will also get enjoy your bush breakfast as you watch the sunrise over the horizon in Maasai Mara. Later head back to your lodge to rest and have lunch.
After lunch, drive out for a community tour where you will be visiting the Maasai Bomas. Get an opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and learn more about the interesting Maasai culture, as well as take part in their interesting traditional dance and singing performances. Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive to Amboseli National Park (Approximately 6-7 hours’ drive)
You will have breakfast early in the morning, then check out of your lodge in Maasai Mara National Reserve and after this you will have a morning game viewing experience in the reserve to watch the wildlife species that are active during the morning and can easily be spotted as you continue your drive to Amboseli national park.
You will have a stop in Naivasha for lunch and later you will proceed on your journey to Amboseli National Park where you will check in at your lodge. You will have an evening guided nature walk to have a close experience with your surroundings in the national park and to enjoy views of the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro. After, return to your lodge after your nature walks to have your dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Full day in Amboseli national park
On this day, you will head for a full-day wildlife viewing experience in Amboseli National Park, after your breakfast at your lodge and then you will proceed for a morning game viewing experience and to enjoy photography in the savannah plains of the national park which is home to herds of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards among others as well as different bird species.
You will return to your lodge for lunch and later in the evening, you will have another game-viewing experience to look for wildlife species and to enjoy the impressive sunset after which you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at your lodge.

Day 9: Departures (5-6 hour’s drive)
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of your 9 Days Bwindi Gorillas, Maasai Mara & Amboseli wildlife safari, then proceed for your morning game drive in the park. During your game drive will be able to see different wildlife and bird species. Your guide will drive you to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your preferred location which will be the end of your safari.
