Camping in Queen Elizabeth National Park : Camping refers to act of staying and sleeping in an outside area in the tent for one or more days and nights. However, campsites in Queen Elizabeth National Park offers perfect permanent tents which blend a canvas exterior with a thatched roof that provides protection from the sun and rain. The camping accommodation ranges between self-contained tents and non-self-contained tents with communal toilet facilities.
Ishasha Wilderness Camp
This Ishasha wilderness camp sits in the famous Ishasha sector in the southwest of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The lodge comprised of 10 private canvas tents offering an authentic tented camping experience with a comfortable stay. Each tent overlooks the Ntungwe River and they have veranda that offers stunning view of the local hippos and herds of elephants. The camp consists perfect budget accommodation in a range of 10 non-self-contained tents. Each tent offers a double bed, a bedside table and power outlet. There toilets are communal.
Kasenyi Safari Camp
The Kasenyi Safari Camp sits on the shores of thrilling Lake Bunyampaka in the Kasenyi savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This camp has a spectacular location and offers about 8 tents which are built on raised platform and covered by a thatched canopy roof.
Each tent is comprised of a king sized bed, an en-suite bathroom and a spacious living area.

Generally, Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to wide range of unique wildlife species over 95 mammals ,600 birds and various number of small primates. The park is located in western Uganda region, approximately 5 to 6 hours from Kampala to the main destination. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and under management of ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority a governing body to all Uganda’s National Park.
