The 5 Days Rwanda Safari takes you a beautiful land filled with thousands of hills and the clean country of Rwanda.
Day 1: Pickup from Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes NP
On your first day, you will be met by our guide who will pick you up from your hotel or Kigali Airport and then transfer to Kigali city for a short city tour where you will visit the genocide memorial site and Kimironko market. Later, drive to Ruhengeri town with lunch en-route. Arrive at your lodge in time to check-in and have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Iby’iwacu Village Tour.
Early in the morning after breakfast and a briefing from the RDB officials, then go for the mountain gorilla trekking experience. After briefing, you will be lead into the forest trails by the park rangers in search of the gorillas.
You will move up and down the rugged thick forest until you meet these harmonious creatures in a company of your finally finding of these harmonious creatures whose company you will cherish for an hour.
Rwanda gorilla trekking can take 3-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. In the afternoon you will head out for a cultural tour to Iby’iwacu village for a cultural experience with a resident local guide. Visit the King’s palace and learn more about the Rwandan culture through dance and singing performances from the local intore dance troupe. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Hike Mount Bisoke and Transfer to Lake Kivu
Today, wake up have breakfast at your lodge before driving to the briefing point. After you have been briefed, you will head on your hike on Mount Bisoke, taking about 4-6 hours depending on your pace. Once you get to the summit of the mountain, you will be amazed of spectacular views of the largest caldera lake as well as surrounding mountains in the Virunga Massif. Once you descend back to the base, you will meet up with your driver guide and head for lunch before you embark to Lake Kivu in Gisenyi where you will spend the night at your selected lodge/hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Nyungwe National Park and Canopy Walk’’4 to 5hours’’
After having your breakfast followed by a drive to Nyungwe forest national park with a stopover for lunch enroute to the park. Arrive in the parkand go for a 2 hours hike to and from the canopy walkway bridge- a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees.
You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, exploring wildlife moving about below you. This hiking adventure takes between 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Before night fall, you will drive back to the lodge.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trek and Transfer Back to Kigali
Have breakfast early in the morning then drive back to the briefing point. Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest begins at 5am and can take between 4-6 hours or even more depending on the location of the chimpanzees.
You will be given only an hour to spend with the chimps once they have been found. Arrive in Kigali, your driver/guide will drop you off at a hotel of your choice or Kigali International Airport for your flight departure. If a city tour was not possible on your first day, then you can choose for a short tour of Kigali city.
