Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
On day 1 of the 7 Days Maasai Mara and Serengeti Safari, upon arrival at the Airport or hotel in Nairobi. You will be picked up by our safari driver representative and then embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is a birder’s haven and home to the black and white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes which can be watched during the game drive.
You will also visit the shores of Lake Nakuru where you will see flocks of notable flamingoes and other various bird species. Later in the day, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
On day 2 of the 7 Days Maasai Mara and Serengeti Safari, after breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to Maasai Mara National Reserve a magical safari destination in Kenya and for its highest population of wildlife and eco-system. You will drive through the Rift Valley escarpment where you will have spectacular views of the escarpment. You will arrive at the reserve in time for lunch. Then after lunch, check in.
In the afternoon, go for a game drive exploring the plains of Mara and enjoying great views of various animals including the Big Five like lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and other game. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara game reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
Wake up early for our African breakfast and get ready for the long-awaited day in Maasai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, with your lunch boxes drive for a full day in the Maasai Mara plains. Other animals in Maasai Mara to view include large pride of lions, zebras, leopards, Elephants, and giraffes among others. You will also have a chance to witness the Mara River Crossing.
Have a break for lunch. Thereafter go for another game drive to search for more animals –you would have missed during the previous one. By following different tracks, you will have opportunities to see even more animals and chances to witness the Great Wildebeest migration if you visit in season ‘’ July to Mid-October’’. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Transfer from Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
Wake up early have breakfast and check out from the lodge as early as possible around 7 am. Embark out of the reserve through the Oloololo gate in the western part of the reserve to the border of Isebania. You shall have clearance from the border customs office then continue a drive to Serengeti National Park. Have an en-route game drive as you drive to your lodge. Check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After your early breakfast at the lodge, head out for an extensive game drive within the park with your packed lunch boxes along the Seronera area. During your game drive Enjoy the big game around Seronera River, and expect to spot some of the wildlife like Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, and cheetahs.
After your game drive, you will continue to the Visitor Centre where we have our lunch break open our lunch boxes. The Tourist Information Centre offers some amazing wildlife displays as well as a gift shop where you can buy books with information –enjoy your lunch here.
In the evening go for a game drive to the Kopjes which are scattered around the plains, stunned with miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes acted as perfect hunting grounds for lions, especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to quench for thirst. Search for other animals which we might have missed during the morning game drive. Drive back for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Optional Crater Rim Walk
Have your breakfast at the lodge, followed by checking out of the Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro. You will have another game-viewing experience with your packed lunch boxes as you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will have chances to visit the Olduvai Gorge where you shall get to learn about the early life of man and findings by Dr. Mary and Louis Leaky.
Continue a drive through the conservation area while enjoying game viewing as well as adventuring the local Maasai people freely moving within the conservancy and the wildlife!
After, drive back to the lodge, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Departure
You will have breakfast at the lodge and with your packed lunch, continue to descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. They are very supportive year-round water supply and fodder to the vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Ngorongoro Crater is home to a dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to adventure.
You will also visit Lake Magadi which acts as one of the main features of the crater and it is located in the southwestern corner. It is also a great location to view numerous flamingos, hippos, and other water birds which can be seen usually.
Enjoy your lunch on the crater floor as you underlook at the picturesque scenery. Then transfer to Arusha thus marking the end of the safari.
