Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Transfer to Nyungwe; On day 1 of the 8 days Classic Rwanda Safari Tour, wake up have breakfast check out of your hotel, and drive south direction along Lake Kivu to connect you to Nyungwe Forest National Park with the help of our professional driver guide. Arrive in time for lunch – have it and check in at your lodge. Spend your evening at leisure as you get prepared for your next day’s activities. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk in Nyungwe

Chimpanzee Tracking: On day 2 of the 8 days Classic Rwanda Safari Tour, after an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about Chimpanzee tracking. After, the briefing, go for chimpanzee tracking in the forest trails in search of the mountain gorillas. Once finding them, you will be allowed an hour to observe gorillas as they survive in their natural habitat as well as take stunning photographs for your future remembrance. After visiting, track back to your lodge for lunch.

Canopy Walk; After lunch, go for an exciting canopy walk experience which rises 60-meter-high bridge. Along this life experience, you will be able to enjoy a great aerial view of the endless plains of Nyungwe and the beautiful natural forest as well as various bird species. Then after your beautiful time in the skies of Nyungwe. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the same lodge.

Day 3: Isuma waterfall hike and evening tea plantation visit

On day 3 of the 8 days Classic Rwanda Safari Tour, Isuma waterfall hike: Have breakfast, followed by heading out to visit the Isumo waterfall where you will have chances to hike through stunning trails that reward with great sightseeing of birds and beautiful butterflies as well as other ranges of the different species found in the Nyungwe forest. Hiking experience can take 4 hours. Return to your lodge – hotel for lunch and rest a bit. Later go visit the tea plantation.

Day 4: Drive back to Kigali with En-route visits –Road trip attraction

Drive back to Kigali: Enjoy your nice breakfast in the cold Nyungwe forest as you get ready to check out. You will check out of your hotel –-lodge and transfer back to Kigali with an En-route visit along the way.

As you drive back to Kigali, you will have a chance to visit the Butare Ethnography Museum and Nyanzi King’s Palace as well as having en – route lunch. Arrive in the evening and check into your hotel in Kigali city. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Akagera National Park –Night Game Drive

Transfer to Akagera:  On day 5 of the 8 days Classic Rwanda Safari Tour, after your perfect breakfast is served at the hotel in Kigali. Your driver guide will drive you on another fabulous safari adventure to Akagera National Park a drive which covers 2 hours to access. The journey takes you through encounters with the community. Arrive at your booked lodge, check-in, have lunch, and relax.

Night game drive; Later on, you will drive in an open savannah grassland for a night game drive with chances of seeing various nocturnal species such as; lions hunting their prey, hyenas, buck babies, civets, leopards, and many cats. You may also have chances to view grazers antelopes like topis, impala, and bushbucks among others. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Lake Ihema boat cruise- Akagera
